Hello, it’s Tim here. Some clarifications have to be made regarding the gameplay of Red Light. After getting some feedback on the devlog post #2, I decided to make clear and describe more thoroughly how the gameplay loop will work.
The core mechanics of Red Light are shooting, exploring, looting and hacking.

Extraction mechanic can be considered one of the game design pillars and it entails looting and shooting, but if you die, you lose all your items and return to base, but if you survive you keep all your items. The progression is getting money to get better gear and upgrade armour/health. In future, bunker facility will have multiple tiers that you gradually open upon defeating bosses.

As of the October demo, there will be one boss that will unlock upgrades.
